| ISPS Code is in full effect since 1/7/2004. A major requirement of the ISPS code is that Company and Ship Security Officers should be trained in line with relevant IMO Model courses. IBS is providing relevant courses that are certified by DNV Seaskill and also USCG Approved due to that accreditation. Course Objectives To provide company/ship security officers with the training necessary to meet their obligation under the Ship and Port Facility (ISPS) Code. Also assist all those involved in the implementation of the ISPS Code for all day to day operational aspects. |  | Regulatory Reference ISPS Code IMO Model Courses 3.19 & 3.20 Who Should Attend Candidates for the Company or Ship Security Officer Position and all those involved in ISPS Code implementation. Presentation and Training Methods Training material in English, Presentation in Greek Course provided by a mixture of lecture, case studies, exercises and final exam. Certification A Certificate of Training is provided to participants on successful completion of course exam.
